Lower III Blist Hill Visit

Lower III visited Blists Hill Victorian Village, to gain a greater insight into what life was like during the Victorian era.

Not only did the children get the opportunity to dress in traditional costume, but they also took part in a ‘Victorian school workshop,’ in which they learnt about the structure of a typical school day. The teacher in charge of the session was extremely strict and both the pupils (and Mayfield staff) ensured they were on their best behaviour!

During the afternoon, the children got the chance to spend some Victorian money, in the traditional shops around Blists Hill Village.
